If your employees don't need to start early or stay late for a shift, you can also choose to round clock in and out times to the scheduled shift start and end time. By choosing 'No rounding,' your payroll and total hours will reflect the nearest minute they clock in or out. Rounding rules do not apply to breaks, unless you have selected 'Round to the scheduled shift start time.' If you choose to round to the scheduled shift start time and an employee takes a break prior to their scheduled shift time, it will be rounded. ![time sheet rounding rules.png1](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Images/knowledge%20base%20images/time%20sheet%20rounding%20rules.png1.png?width=543&height=141&name=time%20sheet%20rounding%20rules.png1.png)   **Timesheet Notifications** As an administrator or manager, you can be notified of employees clocking in/out both earlier or later than their scheduled shift.  Set the number of minutes you would like to set as your timesheet clock in and out notifications.
