How to Utilize Pay Codes on your Schedule

For some companies it may be important to create a pay code on a particular shift. Pay codes are typically used to help identify a different rate of pay on a special shift. For example, a company may offer a premium payment to employees for picking up a last minute shift. The pay code will help identify those shifts on the schedule to help ensure employees are paid accordingly. Enabling this feature is only accessible to company administrators in MakeShift.

Now that you have created your new pay code using the steps from the support article How to Create Pay Codes, you will be able to apply your codes to your specialized shifts.

Click on Schedules from the top navigation bar.
