[The Schedule](https://support.makeshift.ca/admins-managers?hsLang=en-ca#the-schedule) # Copy and Paste a Full Week Schedule Click on **Schedules** on the top navigation bar. ![Schedules Tab](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/New%20KB%20articles%20pictures/Schedules%20Tab.png?width=670&height=46&name=Schedules%20Tab.png) Select the name of a department to get to the schedule. ![Calgary Departments Overview](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Calgary%20Departments%20Overview.png?width=531&height=101&name=Calgary%20Departments%20Overview.png)   Click on the arrows or schedule icon to select the week you would like to copy. Once you are viewing the week you would like to copy, click on the gear icon for schedule options. ![copy and paste article ](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/copy%20and%20paste%20article%20.png?width=307&height=44&name=copy%20and%20paste%20article%20.png)    A dropdown list of options will appear. Select **Copy This Week's Schedule**. This will automatically copy the full week's schedule. ![Paste Schedule4](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Paste%20Schedule4.png?width=298&height=175&name=Paste%20Schedule4.png)   Click on the arrows or schedule icon to select the week you would like to paste the schedule to. You must select a week that does not have any shifts scheduled. Once you are viewing the week that you would like to paste the schedule to, click on the gear icon for schedule options. ![Schedule Options3](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Schedule%20Options3.png?width=251&height=36&name=Schedule%20Options3.png)   A dropdown list of options will appear again. Select **Paste Schedule From (Date Range).** ![Paste Schedule4](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Paste%20Schedule4.png?width=290&height=170&name=Paste%20Schedule4.png)     A notification will appear confirming that you would like to paste a full week schedule. When you are ready, click **Paste Schedule**. ![Paste Schedule Confirmation5](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Paste%20Schedule%20Confirmation5.png?width=492&height=206&name=Paste%20Schedule%20Confirmation5.png)   MakeShift will inform you that the changes you requested are currently being processed. This could take several minutes and the schedule will reload on completion. ![copy and paste article 6](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/copy%20and%20paste%20article%206.png?width=493&height=265&name=copy%20and%20paste%20article%206.png)   The pasted shifts will appear in blue, however they will be filled with a diagonal pinstripe to signify the shift is unpublished. You may make changes to the schedule at this time, before notifying employees. ![copy and paste article 7](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/copy%20and%20paste%20article%207.png?width=159&height=70&name=copy%20and%20paste%20article%207.png)   Once you have completed the schedule, click **Publish This Week** to finalize the schedule and notify employees. ![copy and paste article 8](https://support.makeshift.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/copy%20and%20paste%20article%208.png?width=193&height=45&name=copy%20and%20paste%20article%208.png)   If you have pasted a schedule to more than one week, you can also select the down arrow next to the **Publish This Week** button to reveal a drop down menu with more options.
